How to Prepare: Stovetop: Place frozen butternut squash into a small amount of boiling water. Cover; steam for three to five minutes or until tender. Drain and season to taste. In a microwave-safe dish, heat butternut squash for three to four minutes with a small amount of water. Microwave heating times may vary. Drain and season to taste. Great Ways to Enjoy: Pour frozen butternut sqush into a 9 inch x 9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp butter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh thyme. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. Delicious in soups and stews. For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To return highest quality and texture, do not overcook. Keep frozen. Store at or below 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C).
